IMAP + SMTP Email Channel

Connects any mailbox over IMAP for inbound polling and SMTP for outbound mail.

Install

Install

Every new Open Mercato app already has it.

For an existing app without it:

yarn mercato module add @open-mercato/channel-imap@0.9.0 && yarn generate

Or with create-mercato-module:

npx create-mercato-module install @open-mercato/channel-imap@0.9.0 && yarn generate

Restart the app.

Other Open Mercato versions

When to use

Use when staff mailboxes live on a provider without a dedicated channel and the server offers IMAP and SMTP access.

When not to use

For Google Workspace mailboxes use channel-gmail, which signs in with OAuth2 instead of a stored password.
