# Amazon SES Email Channel
Sends transactional email through Amazon SES v2 with a region, from address and optional configuration set.
Use when the app sends transactional email and your infrastructure already runs on AWS with a verified SES identity.
When not to use it: It does not receive mail. For two-way mailboxes use channel-gmail or channel-imap.
